I just received my beautiful HUGE smoky quartz sterling silver checker-board cut bead ring. When we were playing cards last evening, the stone fell out of the setting onto the floor. We had to chase the cat to get to the bead first. I am sorry to return the ring.

But I've only worn it twice...I went with the smoky stone, and it has wonderful color and depth. I call it my chocolate disco ball, it makes me smile to look at it. Trust me, the smile will go away if the stone parts way with the setting, but for now, I am a happy customer...

I've had the smokey quartz version for several months now and haven't had any problems with the setting being loose. I really love the style and the stone is a beautiful shade of brown. I get compliments on this ring all the time! My mother saw it on me and now she's ordering one too and I'm thinking about also getting the clear version for myself. Hopefully I won't experience any issues with the setting in the future, but so far so good and I'd definately recommend this ring to others.

Stunning, gorgeous (white choice), couldn't take it off until bead fell out. Now I read other reviews saying bead fell out. I expect a lot more from HSN. A piece of junk.
